Manoj provides early stage to mid-size companies with outside general counsel services, providing representation for business litigation and corporate transactions, as well as day-to-day guidance on legal and operational issues. He meets clients’ needs for a strong advocate in a courtroom, or for a savvy negotiator to obtain favorable contractual terms and close a deal. As an entrepreneur himself, he advises companies from startup through acquisition by developing IP strategy, reviewing contracts, preparing corporate formation documents, and implementing business development objectives.

Prior to CMB, Manoj honed his legal skills for over a decade at the international law firm, Akin Gump.  He is an accomplished litigator and adviser on a wide variety of critical matters, including patent, trademark, and trade secret litigation. He continues to practice in both federal and state courts across the nation with lead roles in all phases of litigation. Manoj advises clients on a comprehensive array of technologies, including computer and telecommunications, software, streaming audio and video, GPS navigation, battery charging, oilfield services and equipment, medical devices, fitness electronics, and blockchain.

In addition, Manoj combines his passion for creative content, particularly music and film, with his interest in business. Using his background in IP enforcement, Manoj counsels creators on the negotiation of sponsorship, licensing, and endorsement agreements. This includes creators on social media and in traditional entertainment fields.
