IP and Corporate Attorney
Manoj Gandhi practices all aspects of intellectual property law, providing strategic IP and corporate counseling for multinational, domestic, and start-up companies. Prior to joining CMB as a partner, Manoj honed his legal skills for 11+ years with top international law firm, Akin Gump. He is an accomplished advocate and adviser for companies on a wide variety of critical matters, including patent, trademark and trade secret litigation, licensing negotiations, business plan development, investment strategies, structuring and negotiating mergers and acquisitions, technology acquisitions, joint ventures, and other types of strategic partnerships and alliances. Manoj advises clients on a comprehensive array of technologies, including computer and telecommunications, semiconductors, software, streaming audio and video, mobile navigation systems, battery charging, oilfield services and equipment, medical devices, consumer electronics, and blockchain.
In addition to his IP practice, Manoj provides startups and mid-size companies with outside general counsel services, providing representation for business transactions and litigation, as well as day-to-day guidance on legal and operational issues. As an entrepreneur himself, Manoj acts as a business adviser and is actively involved with early stage companies. A strong proponent of entrepreneurship, he advises companies from startup through acquisition by developing IP strategy, preparing corporate formation documents, implementing business development objectives, and guiding the investment and fundraising process to position businesses for growth.
